I wish. (that's my teammate). For some reason things are working again, let's see for how long. 3 podiums in the last 3 races, I hope I can keep that shape and get closer to the leaders.
Sounds good, I'll probably participate. Saturday would be better though.
Oh and since you're talking about the restrictions, probably the MoE ones fit better. By the way I think GT2 cars should be a bit heavier as well, but that's just me... not that I will drive them anyway.
@GreyBull [CHA]: two hours is piece of cake! Try doing a 16h event with only 2 drivers...
In my case typing anything would mean going straight ahead without any control, because of kb+mouse driving. So I don't have much choice.
Also sometimes - specially in leagues - I don't even apologize. If it was a bad crash I just wait for the guy to recover and resume his race in front of me again. Then at the end of the race or later in the forum I'll tell him I'm sorry.
In the end I think saying sorry doesn't change much. Some people just hit F1 or whatever and keep racing like nothing happened, doing the same thing later or gaining unfair advantage. I mean, why bother...
Thanks a lot mister, I think I'll have it as a backup. Since Deko and Jack said it's ok to use theirs and kindly offered it, no reason to refuse it now (we'll see about this "boss" stuff though). But yeah, if we have any problem we could use something more radical.
Liuzzi didn't race because his back was injured (Barrichello's fault?). Schumacher had to retire after some contact with Thiago Camilo, but seems like he wasn't in shape this time anyway.
I can't find the "championship" standings but seems like Rubens won with 36 points, ahead of Di Grassi with 35.
Edit:
Obviously most of the drivers will always be brazilian, but as far as I know Massa invites a lot of people out there. It's up to them (and whatever/whoever manages them) to accept it or not. Gordon said he accepted it without even thinking and was one of the most excited guys in the track, despite having little experience with karts. Kimi, on the other hand, refused.
On a sad side note, Santa Catarina (the state where this event is happening) has gone through some nasty storms the last days and there are already 110 dead, 19 disappeared and nearly 30k homeless people.
Massa already stated he will be donating some money, and will try to get the other drivers to do the same.
Yup, 1 lap shoot-out for the top 5 of each group - there was 2 groups of 13 cars on qualify, and the top 5 of each group earned the chance to try the pole-position.

Lol @ Jeff Gordon. And I don't see why Di Grassi is a surprise... But my vote goes to Luizzi as well.
Maybe 50 people got the point of the discussion and one missed it. Anyway, it's about what's fast in a race: drifting or not. And I told you that if you need to make sure to have a lot of variables at a certain state (no traffic, nearly 100% perfect brake points, lines, apexes all the time; few laps because of tyre wear/heat) for drifting to be faster, is that even a race?
Fair enough, but you completely missed the point... I was joking.
Wow that's useful. So, speedrift is faster in a race where you're alone and lasts two laps... Sweet.
Judging by your online pb's you were obviously "gripping"? A bit too much perhaps?
It was like that at the first season, it's just normal. Times were closer to WRs and the difference of the fast drivers to the not so fast drivers were huge, as it is in any other league. Those slower drivers didn't have a chance what so ever. Also there was the problem with traffic, tracks being somewhat short.
Now, as you only have one shot, you might want to think about pushing to get a good position/pole (and maybe ending up in the wall and out of the event) or doing an ok lap to garantee a mid/low position on the grid (but then you'll have to battle your way against the faster drivers).
Either way you'll need lots of concentration, pressure handling and smooth driving on cold tyres. Talk about extra tension.
Sure, the only restriction I'd like to see is people driving only one car through the entire event. But you can choose wich one right before the qualify if you want.
